Dedham Savings Announces Staff Promotions in Several Bank Divisions

Peter Brown, President & Chief Executive Officer at Dedham Savings, announced several promotions in the Retail, Information Technology, and Business Development Divisions, including: Bill Kane to Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer; Jacqueline Johnson to Vice President, Branch Manager; and Kristin O’Brien to Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer.

Stated Brown, “I am so pleased to recognize the accomplishments of these dedicated employees. Dedham Savings has a history of promoting from within the Bank to reward the talents of employees like these and their commitment to our customers and community.”

BILL KANE

As Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Bill Kane is responsible for overseeing Information Technology operations. This includes managing IT infrastructure, providing bank-wide support for applications and their delivery, and ensuring end-user support across all bank locations. Kane implements and executes the bank’s IT strategy, which aligns with and supports the bank’s overall business strategy and also ensures that technology solutions meet present and future needs. With more than 25 years in technology leadership positions within the banking industry, Kane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. He resides in Dover with his wife, Victoria, and their two children.

JACQUELINE JOHNSON

As Branch Manager of Dedham Savings’ Main Office, Jacqueline Johnson is responsible for administrative and sales initiatives, including training and overseeing a growing team of employees. She holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Boston Business School and has also completed multiple financial workshops through the Massachusetts Bankers Association. In the community, Johnson volunteers with HESSCO Meals on Wheels, Earth Day clean ups, the annual Flag Day Parade, Dedham Day, the Endicott Summer Concert, the Cystic Fibrosis annual Walk and the James Joyce Ramble. She was honored by Dedham Savings in 2021 for her community volunteerism with the Ebenezer Burgess 1831 Annual President’s Award. She is also active on several bank committees. Johnson lives in Foxboro with her husband, Troy, and has two adult children.

KRISTIN O’BRIEN

As Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer, Kristin O’Brien works with local business customers to support their ongoing financial needs while identifying opportunities to deepen their banking relationship. During her nearly 30 years at Dedham Savings, O’Brien has held multiple positions in the Retail Banking Division, working her way up from part-time Teller.  She is actively involved in her local community and volunteers as a youth basketball and soccer coach. O’Brien lives in North Attleboro with her husband, Sean, and their two children.
