Dedham Savings Appoints New Controller

Sarah Mol has been appointed to the position of Assistant Vice President and Controller at Dedham Savings, according to an announcement by Mark Ingalls, EVP & CFO/COO.

Stated Ingalls, “We are pleased to attract a talented employee like Sarah to our experienced Accounting team.  Her knowledge, training, and enthusiasm make her a great fit for this role, and we look forward to the impact she will make regarding accounting efficiency and best practices.”

As Assistant Vice President and Controller, Mol is responsible for reviewing financial results at the Bank-wide level, along with preparing internal and external reports, with a goal of streamlining processes and procedures.  Prior to joining Dedham Savings, Mol held a similar position at a Boston-based bank.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island, a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Suffolk University, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.  Sarah currently resides in Franklin with her husband and daughter.
