Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Martha Jones Elementary School PTO

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $4,200 to the Martha Jones Elementary School PTO.  These funds will be used to purchase outdoor-style portable stadium seats for each student at the school.  The stadium seats will allow students to more readily engage in school activities that are being taught outside in order to lessen the spread of Coronavirus.  It will also allow the students to take more frequent mask breaks while outside and seated six feet apart.

The Marth Jones Elementary School is a K-5 public elementary school in Westwood, MA serving 300 students.  The PTO supports the school’s educational, developmental, and recreational needs and promotes open communication among parents, guardians, administrators, and teachers.  The organization also aims to provide financial support through grant writing and fundraising to cover costs outside of the School’s general budget.
