Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports RICKY, INC.
Dedham, MA – The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $5,000 to Ricky, Inc. (Respecting Individuals with Care and Kindness, You Matter) to help finance a new vehicle for the organization’s Street Outreach Program. The new van will help the volunteers deliver backpacks filled with essential personal care items to individuals in crisis, and in substance treatment or veteran’s support facilities.

Ricky, Inc. and the Street Outreach Program mission is to give relief to those who are suffering from homelessness, mental illness and substance use disorder. Relief is provided in the form of backpacks filled with essential personal items. They also provide an extensive resource guide detailing numerous crisis resource organizations and a list of contact information of how and where to get help.
ABOUT DEDHAM SAVINGS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which provide services to the communities that they serve. These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood. Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations. The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
