DEDHAM SAVINGS NAMES VICTORIA KANE TO HUMAN RESOURCES LEADERSHIP POSITION

Victoria Kane has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources at Dedham Savings, according to an announcement by Peter Brown, President and CEO. Kane fills a position held previously by longtime employee Jean Tennihan, who retired in December 2021.

Stated Brown, “Victoria brings years of leadership and experience to our Executive Management Team, and we’re excited to have her on board. Her collaborative approach and focus on culture and continuous improvement will make her a great fit at Dedham Savings.”

As Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources, Kane is responsible for developing and executing Human Resources strategy in support of the Bank’s strategic plan. She oversees recruitment and talent assessment, employee relations and employee engagement, training, compensation, benefits, and Human Resources regulatory compliance. Kane has over 20 years of banking experience. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Rochester. She most recently served on the Board of Directors for SER-Jobs for Progress and serves as a Volunteer Case Worker for the Massachusetts Department of Child and Family Services. Kane lives in Dover with her husband, Bill, and their two children.
