February 6, 2024 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated to the Bellforge Arts Center. The grant funds will support the development of a regional multi-arts and outdoor recreation destination serving the MetroWest region.
January 25, 2024 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated to Charles River Center (CRC). The grant funds will support a pilot nutritional consultation and education program at five of CRC’s residential homes.
January 19, 2024 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated to Story Time Crafts, Inc. in Needham.
January 10, 2024 - Dedham Massachusetts-based 1831 Bancorp, the Mutual Holding Company parent of Dedham Institution for Savings ("Dedham Savings"), and Weymouth, Massachusetts-based South Shore Bancorp, the Mutual Holding Company parent of South Shore Bank (“South Shore Bank”) are pleased to jointly announce that the two holding companies completed their merger under the 1831 Bancorp, MHC name, effective January 1, 2024.
