January 11, 2021 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $7,000 in support of The Community Builders’ new project at Franklin Park Community Corner. Funds will be used to update the Community Corner and develop a welcoming and inviting space where community members can receive needed supports.
December 28, 2020 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $25,000 to South Boston Neighborhood Development Corp (SBNDC). This grant will help to defray costs associated with window replacements in multiple buildings, in an effort to maximize efficiency of the heating and cooling systems.
December 21, 2020 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $7,500 to Mass Insight Education & Research. This grant will be used to fund special programming aimed at supporting low-income high school students who are working to achieve Advanced Placement (AP) status.
December 15, 2020 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $10,ooo to Notre Dame Education Center. These monies will be used toward technology upgrades for their new 10,000 square foot facility at 200 Old Colony Avenue in Boston. The renovation is anticipated to be complete in 2021 and the grant will fund such key elements as Wi-Fi hotspots, phone and internet cabling, security cameras and more.
