September 12, 2022 - Beverly Somerville, Vice President & Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer for Dedham Savings, has been elected Chairperson for the Board of Directors of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (NHS), according to a recent announcement by the organization.
September 6, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $2,500 to New Life Furniture Bank of MA. The grant award is part of larger fundraising initiative by the organization to purchase a new delivery vehicle. The vehicle will allow the Furniture Bank to assist families transitioning from homelessness and provide support while rebuilding their homes.
August 29, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $3,500 to DOVE, Inc. (Domestic Violence Ended). The grant funds will be used to purchase appliances for their emergency domestic violence shelter.
August 22, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $11,200 to Jeff’s Place Bereavement Center. The grant funds will be used for facility capital improvements which include the purchase of new air conditioning equipment, energy-efficient ventilation upgrades, and enhancements to air quality systems.
