The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has awarded a grant to the Bellforge Arts Center. Grant funds will be used to help restore the 87‑acre Medfield campus and transform its former chapel into a fully accessible, state-of-the-art performing arts venue. The grant will support a larger $1.2 million A/V improvement project, including a modern theatre sound system, video and recording equipment, and theatre projection screens. Upon completion, the Center will serve as a regional hub for multi‑arts programming and community outdoor recreation.

The Bellforge Arts Center’s primary goal is to promote and provide availability of the arts and art education within the community, promote well-being, and cultivate an atmosphere of cooperation, community spirit, accessibility, and inclusiveness for underserved families in the MetroWest.

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation is a privately funded foundation created by Dedham Savings to provide financial support to charitable organizations that serve disadvantaged populations within the Bank’s community reinvestment area.
