Dedham Savings Community Foundation Pledges Support to Local Fuel Assistance Programs

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has pledged $50,000 in grants to support local fuel assistance programs in communities served by the Bank, according to an announcement by Peter Brown, Dedham Savings President & Chief Executive Officer.

Brown, who also serves as President & Trustee of the Dedham Savings Community Foundation, emphasized the Bank’s dedication to community support: “Dedham Savings is committed to helping our neighbors when they need it most. Rising heating costs place enormous strain on families, and the Foundation unanimously voted in favor of investing in critical programs that provide warmth, safety, and stability throughout the winter season.”

The Foundation has issued similar grants in recent years to address urgent needs such as housing and food insecurity. Selected organizations receiving fuel assistance funding have been notified by the Bank.
