Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Boston Building Resources

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated to Boston Building Resources. The grant funds will be used to purchase and implement enhanced software and hardware technology. These new tools will help to improve efficiency for workers and volunteers in their mission to provide economical home repair materials to underserved families in the Greater Boston area. Additionally, this investment will address and decrease security concerns associated with outdated hardware and software utilization

Their mission is to provide affordable solutions that not only contribute to the betterment of local communities but also have a positive impact on the environment. As a consumer co-op, they are owned and operated by their members.

ABOUT DEDHAM SAVINGS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which provide services to the communities that they serve. These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood. Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations. The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
