Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Dedham Food Pantry

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has made a grant to Dedham Food Pantry. Grant funds will be used to retain a Strategic Planning Consultant who will guide the organization in the development of a strategic plan. The consultant will be responsible for project management, meeting facilitation, information gathering, stakeholder interviews, strategic financial analysis, and the distillation of emerging consensus into clearly articulated choices. During this process, the Dedham Food Pantry will assess their mission, identify and prioritize areas for growth, and create a roadmap for future goals for impact in the community.

ABOUT DEDHAM FOOD PANTRY

Dedham Food Pantry’s mission is to end hunger in Dedham. Established in 1990, the Dedham Food Pantry consistently serves more than 110 local households each week from a variety of food sources including purchasing from the Greater Boston Food Bank; receiving donated food from individuals, community or corporate food drives; purchasing from warehouse and thrift stores; receiving donated food from grocery stores; and receiving donated produce from local farms. The day-to-day pantry operations are supported entirely by generous and dedicated volunteers.
