Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Father Bill’s & MainSpring

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $10,000 to Father Bill’s & MainSpring, in support of their campaign to fund the building of a 16,000 square foot multi-use Housing Resource Center. The Center, a new model of shelter, housing, and services, will provide support for individuals at-risk of or struggling with homelessness. This initiative is comprised of three major components: a new day center facility offering a wide array of resources, a smaller and more flexible emergency shelter space, and on-site efficiency apartments designated for chronically homeless individuals. The Center will include prevention/rehousing services, medical clinic, partner resources, community meals, and emergency shelter with 75 beds. A four-story building being built adjacent to the Center will include 30 units of permanent supportive housing for individuals.
