Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Mother Brook Arts & Community Center

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated to Mother Brooks Arts & Community Center (MBACC). Grant funds will be used to support the installation of an elevator at the Community Center. This is the final step in an ongoing project of making MBACC fully accessible. These accessibility measures also assure that MBACC is eligible to apply for selected federal and state grants, which are critical to the organization’s viability and future programming.

ABOUT MOTHER BROOK ARTS & COMMUNITY CENTER

Mother Brook Arts and Community Center’s is a non profit organization. Their mission is through the arts to build a vibrant and sustainable center that enriches the Dedham community, and  through the creative process encourage individuals to experience self-discovery and develop self-expression. They support  creative thinking and all kinds of teaching, learning, and communication.

ABOUT DEDHAM SAVINGS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which rovide services to the communities that they serve. These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood. Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations. The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
