Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports West Suburban YMCA

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation recently donated to West Suburban YMCA. Grant funds will be allocated towards capital improvements for the Wells Ave YMCA site, with the purpose of establishing a day camp facility. These enhancements aim to develop functional outdoor, open-air areas for camp-related activities and deliver year-long programming for the local community. The planned improvements will include the purchase of storage and activity equipment to serve camp attendees at this location.

ABOUT DEDHAM SAVINGS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

The Dedham Savings Community Foundation was formed by Dedham Savings for the purpose of funding requests from community organizations which provide services to the communities that they serve. These communities generally, but not exclusively, include Dedham, Needham, Norwood, Sharon, South Boston, Walpole, and Westwood. Typical requests are usually received from such organizations as schools, libraries, family service organizations and non-profit organizations. The Trustees of the Foundation will accept grant requests from community organizations and make awards twice a year.
