Dedham Savings’ Teachout Appointed to Town of Needham Council of Economic Advisors

Chris Teachout, Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager, has been appointed a member of the Town of Needham’s Council of Economic Advisors, according to an announcement by Ed Skou, Director of Treasury Management at Dedham Savings and Charlesbridge Group. Teachout’s appointment was approved at the Town’s May Select Board meeting.

Noted Skou, “Dedham Savings continues to invest in the Town of Needham, and Chris has been instrumental in our continued growth in this important market. He is very involved in the Town, has an extensive local network, and is very tuned into the needs of the business sector. He will be an excellent addition to Needham’s Economic Council.”

As Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager, Teachout is responsible for developing new relationships and increasing the Bank’s commercial deposit base.  With over 15 years of business banking experience, he assists clients with banking and cash management services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Westfield State University. Teachout has also completed the New England School for Financial Studies Program, which is an intensive two-year program for banking professionals to broaden their skills and to provide them with the tools they need to manage effectively in today’s changing industry.

Teachout is a member of the Needham Exchange Club, is active with the Charles River Regional Chamber of Commerce, sits on the Advisory Board of the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham and the Foundation Board of Directors at one of his alma maters, MassBay Community College, and served as former Chair for the Newton Needham Regional Chamber of Commerce. Teachout lives in Medfield with his wife, Susanne, and their three children.
