The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has pledged $50,000 in grants to the Greater Boston Food Bank to support local food pantries in communities served by the Bank, according to an announcement by Peter Brown, Dedham Savings President & Chief Executive Officer.

Grant funds will be used for critical structural repairs at its 154–156 Boylston Street property, including sill, stairwell, and framing repairs. These improvements will allow BCDC to continue its ongoing restoration of the property, intended to enhance residents’ comfort and reduce utility costs, ensuring safety and long-term housing stability for low and moderate-income residents.

Grant funds will be used to support the development of a modern, user‑friendly website that reflects the program’s growth, improves accessibility, and streamlines the registration process. This new online platform will help Dreamfar reach more teens, strengthen community engagement and enhance communication to highlight student and mentor stories.
