Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Mass Insight Education and Research

February 14, 2023 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $10,000 to Mass Insight Education and Research. Funds will be used to purchase hardware and software for managing program registration and attendance for the organization’s Saturday Study Sessions.  Data collected will help the organization with assessing and leveraging data to drive decision-making and amplify student impact. The Saturday Study Sessions are integral to the organization’s program to provide high-quality academic support and resources for systemically marginalized students.

Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Dedham Housing Authority

February 7, 2023 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Dedham Housing Authority (DHA). The grant funds will be used to support renovations to the organization’s Resource Center, located at their Veterans Road Housing Site. DHA’s Veterans Road development houses 80 low-income families. Planned improvements to the Resource Center include interior cosmetic updates, increased seating and functional storage capacity, and renovations to the outdoor space.

Dedham Savings Community Foundation Supports Needham Community Farm

January 24, 2023 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $5,000 to Needham Community Farm. The grant funds will be used to repair and replace fencing around their 3-acre primary farm site to protect the community gardening beds. This will allow for expansion of production capacity and increase the amount of food grown for donation and hunger relief programs.
