September 14, 2022 - The Transition Room at Walpole High School supports close to 100 students each school year after lengthy absences for a variety of circumstances, including major surgeries or other health matters. Regardless of the circumstances for participation in this program, the ultimate goal is to effectively support each student’s transition back to school and to their full academic schedule.
September 12, 2022 - Beverly Somerville, Vice President & Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer for Dedham Savings, has been elected Chairperson for the Board of Directors of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (NHS), according to a recent announcement by the organization.
September 6, 2022 - The Dedham Savings Community Foundation has donated $2,500 to New Life Furniture Bank of MA. The grant award is part of larger fundraising initiative by the organization to purchase a new delivery vehicle. The vehicle will allow the Furniture Bank to assist families transitioning from homelessness and provide support while rebuilding their homes.
